Columbia Reinstates Standardized Testing for Fall 2028 Entry
Columbia College and Columbia Engineering will reinstate a standardized testing requirement effective August 2027, applying to all first-year and transfer students who apply for undergraduate admission in the 2027-2028 admissions cycle.
For the upcoming 2026-2027 admissions cycle, Columbia College and Columbia Engineering will remain test optional.
