Syracuse University Adds Early Action Option
Syracuse University is now offering an early action application option for the upcoming 2026-27 admissions cycle.
Applicants who apply through early action by the November 1 deadline will receive their admissions decision in early February. Early action is non-binding, meaning admitted students are free to continue comparing offers and are not required to commit to SU.
In previous cycles, SU offered only binding early decision as an alternative to regular decision. The addition of early action gives prospective students the benefit of an earlier decision without the obligation to enroll.
