University of Virginia Admits 8,420 Applicants to the Class of 2024

The University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 8,420 applicants to the Class of 2024.

A total of 40,839 applications were received this year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 21 percent. The admission rate for residents was 33 percent vs out-of-state at 15 percent.
