University of Virginia Admits 9,726 Applicants to the Class of 2028

The University of Virginia announced today that it admitted 9,726 applicants to the Class of 2027.

A total of 58,995 total applications were received, up 5 percent year over year, resulting in an overall admission rate of 25.5% for residents and 13% for out-of-state.

For Regular Decision applicants, the acceptance rate for residence was 15% and 11% for out-of-state.
